  We ordered our hardwood floors through Stover's. The sales person told us the kind we were looking at were great floors and one of the best they had as far as strength. Once we got them, we experienced a completely opposite scenario. Yes, I know floors will get scratches, but within days our floors were completely scratched, dented, and peeling. Someone came out to check them and file a claim, but the manufacturer denied. At that point, they explained there were two versions of this particular wood and we most likely got the softer version. This was the first we had ever heard of this!!! Why would you sell something you know can be extremely soft and claim it is one of the best (and priced at a premium to others). Then I noticed they were splintering in multiple places. I actually stubbed my toe on it. I tried to reach back out to let them know, with no response. I've had wood floors with dogs in the past and grew up with them. These are by far the worst I've seen. Do not buy from here as not all their products are what they tell you they will be. They tried to put it off on the manufacturer, but in the end, they sold me the floors.

  I recently went to Stovers on a referral from a family member. First impression was "overwhelming selection". They had literally thousands of flooring options. I met Matt & Curt and they made my trip well worth the drive. Great customer service and seemed very genuine. They even sent a follow-up card after my purchase.... never got one from Big Box :) If you are remodeling, you've got to give these guys a chance. Bought a cabin grade wood floor on sale for $1.49. Great place

  Terrible experience!!! It started out ok, when the lady on the phone picked up and asked how she can help. I asked her about the retaining wall blocks. She said they have some. It is an hour drive for me to get there so I was trying to determine if there was enough blocks for me to build a 50 foot wall. She said "we have at least two pallets" I continued to ask questions about size, price, quantity, availability, and color. Then she put me on hold for 10 minutes. Once she picked the phone up again, she would not answer my questions. Just continued to say, "it depends on what you want" I said can you at least give me a few prices that I can correlate to the size of the bricks, I wanted to compare the price. She said "the prices range from low to high, it depends on what you want". I then gave up on asking her anything. I drove 1 hour there and 1 hour back home with an empty trailer.......they had nothing that I could use. All that lady could have done was to give me a few answers and they would have gotten a 5 star....she decided to be lazy and waste 2 hours of my time and gas for me to drive there.

  I was MORE than pleased with the service, selection and price at Stover's and I am hard to please. Every employee I met - from my salesman, Kevin to the manager Josh and the cashiers and warehouse loaders were attentive and willing to go above and beyond! I love my tile and couldn't beat the $.88/SF price for 12x24 first grade porcelin. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
